To measure a thermocouple

Go through the thermocouple input
menu and make the selections as
required. Press EXE to open the
working screen; the measurement
reading is shown in the upper window.
Resolution is 0.1 degrees for most
thermocouple types.

Using compensation wires

It is strongly recommended to use
compensation wires for thermocouple
simulations and measurements. Insert
the compensation wire lead ends into
the wire holes as indicated.
Hand-tight each terminal screw to
secure the wires and make the proper
connections at the instrument side.
Make sure that you use the right type
of wires and that polarities are not
accidentally reversed. Select
INTERNAL to compensate the cold
junction microvolts automatically.
