● Connect the USB-C cable to the USB-C port of the device and a
USB charger.
 The rechargeable battery will charge.

Replacing the Batteries

WARNING
Risk of explosion
Risk of explosion if the incorrect battery type is used.
► Only use the battery types specified by Dräger.
1. Turn off the device.
2. Slide off the battery cover.
3. Replace the batteries (3 x 1.5 V alkaline battery [LR06 Mignon
AA]), ensuring that they are inserted the right way round.
4. Slide the battery cover back into place.
The time must be reset if the batteries are not replaced in less than
5 minutes. Measurements cannot be performed if the time has not
been set.

Cleaning

Clean the device using an alcohol-based cleaning agent.
To clean the device:
1. Apply the cleaning agent to a disposable cloth and wipe the
device. Do not apply cleaning agent directly to the device.
Make sure that no liquid enters the gas inlet.
2. After cleaning, store the device without its packaging at room
temperature (20–25°C) for at least 24 hours.
3. Then check that the there is no residual alcohol inside the device
via passive sampling and checking that the result NO ALC. is
displayed.
