necessary to define the "alarm group" (from 1 to 16 inputs)
• The alarm signal is not recognized: the minimum duration of the alarm pulse is 40 ms.
Proceed to verify the functioning of the alarm contact :

enter the programming

set the contact concerned as Normally Open (menu 3.1)

configure the relevant alarm group with only the input 1 activated (menu 3.2)

set the recognition of the contact on all outputs (menu 3.5)
⋅
define the alarm type as "continuous" (menu 3.6)

quit the programming

reset the possible alarm condition which is presented immediately after quitting the

programming

select manually the input 2

alarm repeatedly the contact concerned, short-circuiting it with the alarm common.
If the contact is working, the input 1 (in case of alarm) and the input 2 (at the disabling of the
alarm condition) must be alternatively displayed.
• When the alarm signal stops, the matrix is automatically reset: the alarms are defined as Continuous. If
they are defined as Pulse alarms, the alarm condition is stored waiting for a reset (time reset, from
keyboard or external reset)
• The matrix is automatically reset as soon as an alarm occurs: the external reset has been enabled and
is always active.
• No acoustic warning signals the alarm condition: in the configuration of the matrix, the buzzer has been
disabled ; from the keyboard it is possible to activate a buzzer in case of alarm and/or in case the
communications with the matrix are interrupted
• Not all alarms are handled, but only the last one in order of time, while the previous ones are lost: the
"Last alarm only" option has been set on the menu 3.6 Other parameters Alarms.
6.8 Programming
• It is not possible to enter the programming : only the operator controlling the output number 1 is
authorized to perform the configuration procedure. If necessary, the programming password has to be
introduced.
• The other outputs are blocked: during the programming, considering the exceptional character of this
operation, the matrix functioning (management of the automatic switching cycles, manual selection,
alarms) is temporary stopped.
• It is not possible to enter the programming during an alarm : in case of alarm, it is not possible to enter
the programming. If no type of reset has been enabled, the reset from keyboard is automatically
enabled.
6.9

Safety

• Passwords are required which have been forgotten: the passwords, like the other main parameters,
are stored inside a static memory in each keyboard. If the passwords have been forgotten, please
contact the retailer to know how to recover them through the replacement of the memory in the
keyboard.

6.10 Printer

• The printer is connected to the DB25 connector, but no output printing is obtained: check the
communication speed of the serial printer ; if it is correct, remember that printers are usually provided
with a reception buffer. In some models the printing is achieved only when this buffer is completely
loaded : to force the printing, refer to the printer manual.
