Optional cards

Inside the matrix it is possible to introduce three ID07 cards for character generation (one card for each
output), which allows the identification of each video input with a 24-character text. The video output
number 1 is already provided with internal character generator.

Peripheral units

The SW164OSM matrix is controlled by the KEYPLUS and DCS2 keyboards (the latter also controls
telemetry receivers).
The connection to a PC is made using one of the four RJ11 connectors, usually used to connect the
keyboards.
The DB25 connector, positioned on the rear side of the matrix, provides three contacts (TRIGGER, TX,
GND) which are necessary for the control of the VTR trigger or, as an alternative, of a serial printer.
Caution ! It is not possible to control the VTR trigger and the printer at the same time. When the
first one is enabled, the second one is automatically disabled.
