Hardware configuration

It is necessary to open the matrix cover:
• to set up the transmission mode: RS232 (default) / Current Loop
• to set up the communication baudrate: 300 / 1200 / 2400 / 9600 baud (default)
• to add the optional ID07 identification boards
• to adjust the colour of identification texts.

4.5.1 Opening and closing the SW164OSM matrix

Warning! The operation must be carried out only by technical staff. Some of the configuration steps
described hereafter must be carried out with the video matrix turned on: proceed with care in order to
avoid accidental contacts with powered parts !
• Disconnect the matrix from the power supply
• Remove the two pairs of screws located on the sides of the matrix near the upper cover
• Remove the cover, ensuring that screws or other loose parts are not left inside the matrix.
To close, carry out the above actions in reverse order, remembering to leave the power supply
disconnected.
