3.Installation (continued)
Mounting shut-off valve (optional)
NOTE:
– The KLVV-R model is supplied complete
with a shut-off valve. This must be fixed.
1. Mount the shut-off valve to the supply and
return pipes (Ø 15 mm) of the heat
exchanger.
2. Attach the drive to the shut-off valve.
Connecting CH system
NOTE:
– See chapter "Technical Specifications" for
the demands that the unit sets on the CH
system.
1. Connect the pipes of the CH system to
the supply and return pipes (Ø 15 mm) of
the heat exchanger or of the shut-off
valve mounted, if any.
2. Check the connections made. They must
be leak-tight.
3. Fill the CH system and vent the heat
exchanger using the air relief valves on
the headers. If necessary, also vent the
CH system.
Mounting grilles
1. Hook the pins of each grille into the
hinged sections of the unit.
2. Close the grilles.
3. Check the position of the grilles.
Connecting to mains
NOTE:
– See chapter "Technical Specifications" for
the demands that the unit sets on the elec-
trical installation.
WARNING:
• Check the power supply. It must comply
with any applicable local regulations and be
provided with an earth connection.
• Ensure that the power supply can be
switched off near the unit.
1. Insert the plug into the wall socket.
Connecting control panel
Refer to the manual "Touch Control" before
connecting the control panel. The manual is
supplied with the unit. The manual also
explains how to incorporate a unit into a
Biddle control system.
Setting discharge temperature
The temperature of the air discharged by
the KLVV-R can be regulated. The desired
value can be set within a range from 15 to
40 °C.
1. Open the discharge grille.
2. Turn the discharge temperature adjust-
ment knob to the desired value (see
table 3.1).
3. Close the grille.

Commissioning
The unit is now ready for commissioning.
