OPERATION

MOVING THE GENERATOR

 Disconnect any equipment that is plugged into the
generator.
 Turn the engine switch OFF ( O ).
 Allow 30 minutes of "cool down" time before storing the
machine.
 Raise the handle to the up position.
 For security, insert the pin to secure the handle before

LIFTING THE GENERATOR

See Figure 22.
 Turn the engine switch OFF ( O ).
 Fold the handle to the down position. Never lift or carry
this product using the handle.
NOTE: This tool is heavy and requires several people to
lift. To avoid back injury, keep your knees bent and lift
with your legs, not your back, and get help when needed.
HIGH ALTITUDE OPERATION
Your engine is configured for operation below 2,000 feet
altitude at the factory. Your engine must be reconfigured for
operation above 2,000 feet altitude. Operating the engine
with the wrong engine configuration at a given altitude may
increase its emissions, decrease fuel efficiency, degrade per-
formance, and cause irreversible damage. Engines configured
for high altitude operation cannot be operated in standard
altitude conditions. A qualified service center should ensure
that your engine is properly configured for your location.
