b) Transmitter
• Using rechargeable batteries in the transmitter results in a significantly shorter battery life due to the
lower voltage (disposable batteries = 1.5 V, rechargeable batteries = 1.2 V). For this reason, always use
non-rechargeable batteries in the transmitter.
• Always exchange the entire set of batteries in the transmitter. Do not mix full batteries with half-full ones.
Always use batteries of the same type and from the same manufacturer.
• If you do not plan to use the vehicle for an extended period (e.g. during storage), remove the batteries
from the transmitter to prevent them from leaking and causing damage.
c) Vehicle/drive battery
• Only use the single-cell Li-ion drive battery supplied (rated voltage 3.7 V) or an identical replacement
battery to power the vehicle.
• If the device is not going to be used for an extended period time (e.g. storage), disconnect the drive
battery from the vehicle. Otherwise, the drive battery may go into deep discharge, which can cause
permanent damage. Remove the drive battery from the vehicle to avoid damage to due leaking. Store
the drive battery out of the reach of children.
• Only charge the drive battery using the USB charger supplied and a suitable USB power adapter.
• The drive battery, the USB charger and the USB power adapter heat up during the charging process.
Never cover them during the charging process. Do not expose the drive battery or charger to high/low
temperatures, direct sunlight or moisture.
• Disconnect the drive battery from the USB charger when the battery is fully charged.
• Do not charge the battery inside a vehicle.
• Keep the battery out of the reach of children. Children may accidentally short circuit the battery, which
can cause a fire or an explosion. Danger of death!
• Do not use the product in the immediate vicinity of strong magnetic or electromagnetic fields, transmitter
aerials or HF generators. These may affect the charger's electronic control system.
• When handling the battery, remove metal or conductive objects such as jewellery (necklaces, bracelets,
rings, etc.). A short circuit may cause a fire or explosion.
• Never charge the battery immediately after the vehicle has been moved from a cold to a warm room.
This may generate condensation, which can cause the product to malfunction or damage the interior
components. Allow the product to reach room temperature before charging the battery.
