Connecting separate push-buttons to the LS100
It is possible to control the switching devices connected to the LS100 digitally as
well as via separate push-buttons (or REED contacts) by means of the ""
terminals. However, the corresponding output must not be set to flashing or
continuous operation, and the drive used for the switching device must have auto-
shutoff. Wire the push-buttons and/or REED contacts as shown in the illustration
below:

The illustration shows a typical double-coil drive for signals or points. Both coils
are connected to the terminals + and - of the switch decoder.
In addition, the push-buttons K1 and K2 are connected. Press push-button K1 to
activate the left coil and push-button K2 to activate the right coil. This way, you
can control the point (or signal) both digitally with the LH100 and manually with
the push-buttons K1 and K2.
Important: The terminals of several LS100 units may not be connected to each other as
you are not dealing with continuous mass! Only use voltage-free contacts, e.g. REED
contacts! Suitable is the ROCO switch track 42518.
