and the signal will indicate "Stop", and press key "-" to turn on the green bulb and
the signal will indicate "Clear". This renders the use of additional relays for light
signals unnecessary.
Flashing:
In this operating mode, terminals + and - of an output are activated in turn.
This mode is suitable, for example, for the connection of illuminated St. Andrew's
crosses at level crossings. The flashing frequency can be set. More information is
contained in the Section "Programmierung der Eigenschaften eines Ausgangs".
Generally, if terminal + of an output is active during pulse or continuous operation,
and terminal - is activated during the pulse duration, terminal + becomes inactive,
independent of whether the pulse duration has expired or not. This applies
correspondingly if terminal - is active, and terminal + is activated.
Attention!
When setting output features, keep in mind that several outputs can be active at
the same time, depending on the length of the pulse duration or in continuous
operation. The connected consumers may not exceed the switch decoder's
maximum current-carrying capacity of 3A.
The connections of the LS100
1)
Terminals 1 to 4 are the connections for the switching devices, e.g. points,
signals, decoupler relays, etc. The "RM" terminals are required for the
transmission of feedback information on point and signal settings. Twisted
wires are necessary.
The  terminals provide the decoder's internal negative potential. These
2)
terminals are required for the connection of external push-buttons or
contacts. The  terminals of several LS100 units may not be connected
to each other as you are not dealing with continuous mass!
3)
The terminals marked with the AC symbol are designed for connection to a
16V AC power supply or power supply from the track (J, K). Terminals J and
K are designed for connection to terminals J and K of the amplifier
LV100/101/LV102/LZV100. The decoder receives commands via the cables
connected here. Twisted wires are necessary. Terminals R and S are
designed for connection to the feedback bus of the command station
LZV100 / LZ100.

The LED and
5)
The push-button are required for programming the switch decoder. More
information is contained in this operating manual.
