The features of the LS100
Up to 4 switching devices with double-coil drives can be connected to the LS100.
Special features of the LS100 include the external power supply and the
possibility to assign individual features to the outputs through programming. Each
output can be programmed to pulse or continuous operation with variable pulse
duration or flashing operation. This enables the direct connection of bulbs or
LEDS without additional relays.
The LS100 has a connection for the Digital plus by Lenz
combination of the feedback bus with suitable drives enables the transmission of
feedback information on point settings to the system. This in turn enables manual
changes of point settings to be displayed on suitable input devices.
More information on output features
Pulse output:
Pulse output means that the output is activated (or active) at least as long as the
switch command is sent to the LS100, i.e. until e.g. the key "+" or "-" of the LH100
is pressed.
The period during which the output remains active afterwards (i.e. after the key is
released) is called pulse duration and is determined by a programmed numerical
value. If a new switch command is sent during the pulse duration, the
programmed period is restarted and the output remains active for another pulse
duration.
Continuous output:
Output + is activated by pressing key "+" of the LH100. Output + is activated until
output -is activated by pressing key "-". Every time, terminal + or - of an output is
activated, and the output behaves like a toggle switch. Here an example:
The red bulb of the light signal is connected to terminal + of an output, and the
green bulb of the light signal to terminal -. Press key "+" to turn on the red bulb
