WARNING !
10
SAFETY OF PLASMA CUTTING SYSTEM.
Only this model of torch and its coupling with the power
240
source as shown on "TECHNICAL DA TA" ensure the
efficacy of the safety measures adopted by the
100
constructor (interblockage system).
95
30
- DO NOT USE torches and relative consumables of
0.8 ÷6
different origin.
35
- DO NOT TRY TO COUPLE torches built for cutting or
100
WELDING procedures which are not described in
50
these instructions.
2 ÷12
- IF THESE RULES ARE NOT OBSERVED serious
dangers may occur both to the user and to the machine.
3 INSTALLATION
ASSEMBLAGE OF SEPARATE PARTS:
Take "PL" plant from package and proceed to assemble
the wheels according to the following scheme:
COMPRESSED AIR CONNECTION
Class I
IP 22
- Arrange a compressed air distribution line having the
H
following minimum features:
Air pressure 5 bars; capacity 120 L/min.
45 Kg
S30
WARNING !
Air with considerable quantities of humidity or oil
may cause an excessive wear of the parts or even
damage the torch.
230
If there are any doubts about the quality of compressed
35
air available, we advise to use an air dryer, to be installed
24
above the entry filter.
5.5
By means of a flexible piping, connect the compressed air
0.68
line to the machine using one of the connectors
16
included. This is to be set on the entr y air filter, which is
25
on the rear of the machine.
30
6.8

20
WARNING !
Do not exceed maximum entry pressure of 8 bars.

MAINS CONNECTION
35
90
PL58/2
24
- The machine must be connected only to three phase
06÷03
distribution systems with a "PE" protection earth lead
25
PL 36/2:
90
he machine must be powered by a single-phase
- T
30
system
08÷6
with two leads, plus a third lead exclusively for the
protective earth connection (PE).
For both models:
- Arrange a line with normalized plug protected by a
differential automatic switch; verify that the plug
terminal is connected to the ground of the
distribution line.
- The data for the dimensioning of the mains line (power,
capacity) are described in the paragraph "Technical
50 A
data".
30 A
- Before any connection check that "U" rating data match
the voltage and frequency of the mains on site:
