6.7 Measures in the event of maintenance and repair of the vehicle

Caution: Inform the workshop of the presence of the marten repellent device.
Switch the marten repellent device off (press the ON/OFF switch) before starting maintenance or repair work. For safety, also remove
the fuse from the fuse holder (see section 6.6 Replacing the fuse).

7.1 Maintenance
The marten repellent device is maintenance-free when used in accordance with the intended purpose.
Regularly check the device, the high-voltage cable and the contact plates to ensure firm and correct seating.
7.2 Care
Keep the exposed surfaces of the contact plates clean. To do this, use a soft cloth, slightly dampened at most. Do not use any aggressive
cleaning agents or solvent-based cleaners.
The frequency of cleaning required will depend on the weather, time of year and the road surfaces.

8. Notes regarding environmental protection

Do not dispose of electrical devices with the household waste! Electrical and electronic scrap must be collected separately and
disposed of in an environmentally responsible manner for recycling. Please contact your community or city administration regarding
disposal options for electrical and electronic scrap.
