7. Troubleshooting

PROBLEM
The appliance does
not start
The appliance is
very noisy.
The appliance slows
down or blocks
during processing
The above cases are presented merely by way of examples of possible problems. In the event of

POSSIBLE CAUSES
The electric plug is not inserted
in the socket.
The bowl support is not correctly
or totally lifted.
The "START" button has not
been pressed.
The thermal protection has
entered into operation following
overheating.
The protection fuse has blown.
The appliance is not located on a
flat or sufficiently stable surface.
There is a vibration caused by
loose screws or bolts.
A quantity of product is being
used which is greater than that
recommended or an attempt is
made to process a mixture which
is too hard or at a speed
different from that
recommended.
Bowl not correctly locked and/or
positioned.
A quantity of product is being
used which is greater than that
recommended or an attempt is
made to process a mixture which
is too hard or at a speed
different from that
recommended.
The cooling air vents fitted on
the rear of the appliance are
blocked.
SOLUTIONS
Insert the plug in the electric socket.
Completely lift the bowl using the
side lever/wheel and check that the
bowl it is correctly locked (ref.
subsection 5.4 - Fitting and
removing the bowl and tools).
Press the green "START" button and
adjust the desired speed using the
speed regulator knob.
Wait 30 minutes for the appliance
to cool down before trying again to
start it.
Contact the dealer to request
technical support.
Position the appliance on a flat,
stable surface which is suitable for
supporting it (ref. subsection 5.2
"Handling and positioning").
Check that the screws and bolts
have not become loose during
operation or transport.
Consult Table 2 – Section 10 to
check the tool and the correct
speed as well as the right type and
quantity of product to be processed.
Correctly position and lock the bowl
in its seat.

Clean the air vents and remove any
obstructions using a soft brush and
a vacuum cleaner.
