6.2 Cleaning the appliance, bowl and work tools
The appliance must be regularly cleaned:
After every use clean the bowl, the tools (whisk, hook and spatula) and the bowl protection
grill.
The hook, spatula, whisk and bowl may be cleaned (once they have been removed) under
warm running water and with neutral and non-aggressive detergents.
If necessary or in the case of particularly stubborn dirt, it's possible to use a plastic spatula.
Do not use metal tools to clean the tools, bowl or the appliance.
Clean all parts of the appliance with a neutral and delicate detergent using a soft, slighting
damp cloth or sponge. Carefully dry everything after cleaning.
Only use clean water to dampen the cloth or sponge for cleaning.
Do no use abrasive detergents, such as, for example, abrasive powders, agents containing
alcohol, bleach, diluents, etc., which could damage plastic parts, painted parts or
components, made of stainless steel.
After cleaning, use a soft, dry cloth for drying the surfaces. Check all the parts are perfectly
dry before restarting the appliance.
Regularly check that the air vents on the rear of the appliance (ref. Fig.1 – Para. 8), are clean
and not obstructed. Clean the air vents with a soft bush and a vacuum cleaner. DO NOT USE
COMPRESSED AIR TO AVOID THE FORMATION OF DUST CLOUDS.

6.3 Servicing

The users are allowed to perform the following maintenance operations:

Periodical check of the electric power cable conditions and of the cable clamp on the
appliance base. Do not use the appliance if the cable is damaged. In case the cable or the
cable clamp are damaged, have it replaced by our dealer or by a qualified technician.

Check of the appliance's general conditions.

Check that the appliance does not emit any anusual noises.

Check that the movement of the planetary system is regular.

Regularly check the operating status and correct positioning of the safety protections.

The appliance does not need any particular lubrication operations of the moving parts.
In case a malfunctioning or irregularity was found during these checks, do not use the appliance
and contact your dealer or a qualified technician.
WARNING!
Servicing and repair activities must only be carried out by qualified personnel, using genuine
accessories and spare parts. TRYING TO REPAIR THE APPLIANCE BY YOURSELF IS STRICTLY
FORBIDDEN and would result in the immediate cancellation of the warranty while it could also
lead to the risk of injuries.
6.4 If the appliance will not used for a long period:
Disconnect the plug from the electric socket.
Carefully clean appliance and dry it;
Cover the appliance with a fabric sheet that allows air to circulate but at the same time
