3.2 Residual risks

Injuries and trapping: If the appliance is put into operation with the bowl missing or without
having correctly positioned the bowl in its seat there may be the risk of injury and trapping due to
contact with moving parts.
Overturning: If the requirement to place the appliance on a stable surface and in a level position is
not complied with, injuries may occur due to the overturning of the appliance during operation.
Direct contact with live parts: If the plug is not disconnected before cleaning or servicing the
appliance, the operator may suffer injuries due to direct contact with the live parts.
Indirect contact: If the appliance is connected to an electrical socket which is not protected against
indirect contacts in accordance with the regulations in the country of use, the operator may suffer
injuries due to indirect contact with the live parts.
Danger from flour dust and similar: flour dust and the like can cause damage to the respiratory
system. The user should consult the product data sheets provided by suppliers before handling.
During the manual loading of flour and similar dust-like ingredients, the use of PPE (masks) for
respiratory tract protection is strongly recommended.

4. Environmental notes

The appliance has been designed for use in an environment characterised by a temperature of
between +10°C and +40°C and a relative humidity of between 30 and 80%. Use of the appliance at
a different temperature and/or humidity can result in unexpected operational anomalies and
faults of the appliance.

4.2 Packaging

The appliance is contained in packaging consisting of a wooden crate, a wooden pallet, polystyrene
protections and plastic film. Weights and dimensions are indicated in Tab. 1 – Para. 9.
Do not throw packaging away: it may be useful for packing the appliance during a transfer or for
dispatching the appliance to the dealer or manufacturer for repairs or servicing.
The presence of all the original packaging is essential if a request is made for replacement or
repairs under the appliance's warranty. Remove all internal and external packaging material
before starting the appliance.

4.3 Storage

The packaging must be kept closed until the moment the appliance is installed, and during the
