2. General information and features

The appliance has been manufactured in accordance with all current regulations. However, the
appliance may be source of risks if it is used incorrectly or in a manner non-compliant with its
intended use. It is necessary to be fully aware of the contents of this handbook in order to avoid
hazards and errors, and at the same time it allows the appliance to be used safely and reliably.

2.1 Intended Use

The appliance only operates fully safely when it is used according to its intended use.
All the technical interventions, its installation and all servicing activities must be carried out by a
qualified technical support service.
The AP10-AP20-AP30-AP40 and AG10-AG20-AG30-AG40 planetary mixers are designed solely
and exclusively for the preparation of soft mixtures (bread and pizza dough, sponge cake,
shortcrust pastry) and creams (whipped cream, Chantilly cream, mayonnaise etc.) and for mixing
raw minced meat and spices, using the tools provided - whisk, hook and spatula - and in strict
compliance with the maximum quantity of product which can be processed, speed and type of
tool indicated in Tab.2 – Para.10.
Planetary mixers AP10-AP20-AP30-AP40 and AG10-AG20-AG30-AG40 are designed only for
professional use.
The appliance is not suitable for kneading, processing or mixing hard mixtures such as, for
example, egg pasta dough.
The appliance must be positioned on a stable work surface or levelled ground, so that the
control panel panel results at an height between 80cm and 120cm from the ground.

2.2 Improper use

Use of the appliance for purposes which differ from its intended use (and/or with types and
quantities of product different from those recommended in Tab.2 – Para.10) is forbidden, and will
be considered an improper use not compliant with its intended use. No claims may be made
towards the manufacturer and/or its representatives for damages arising as a result of use of the
appliance which does not comply with the intended use. The user is solely responsible for damages
arising during use of the appliance which does not comply with the intended use.
No modifications should be made to the appliance without the manufacturer's prior approval in
order to avoid any risks for objects or individuals and ensure optimum operation. Any
modification made to the appliance will result in the immediate cancellation of the warranty and
any responsibility by the manufacturer. The appliance must only be used when there are no
doubts regarding its technical status.

2.3 Technical data

Reference should be made to Tab. 1 – Para. 9 and Tab. 2 – Para. 10 for information concerning
power, electricity supply, dimensions, overall size, type and max. quantity of products which can be
