5 – Properly close the bowl protection grill.
6 – Turn on the appliance as indicated in the section "Switching ON/OFF".
Proceed as follows, in sequence, to remove the bowl and tools:
1 - Ensure that the appliance is switched OFF by pressing the red "STOP" button and disconnecting
the electricity supply plug.
2 - Move the side lever/wheel and lower the bowl to the lowest position.
3 – Open the bowl protection grill.
4 – Gently press the tool upwards and turn it to release it, then pull it off the planetary mixer shaft
and remove it.
5 – Remove the bowl by unlocking the side locking handles and lifting it from its seat.
2. Switching ON/OFF (see Fig. 1 and Fig. 3 – Para. 8)
Insert the plug in the individually interlocked protected electric socket. Turn the speed selection
lever to the position best suited to the tool and the kind of work to be done (refer to Tab. 2 – Para.
10) and press the green "START" button: the appliance will start, thus making the tool tool move.
In case it was necessary to change the speed, always make sure to stop the appliance by pressing
the red "STOP" button before moving the speed change lever. Chenging the speed while the
appliance is functioning and the motor and the gears are moving may lead to damage the gears or
other mechanical parts of the speed selection mechanism.
PLEASE NOTE: the models AP30 and AP40 are equipped with a yellow button on the control panel
that has the function to make the motor and the gears move a little, in case the speed selection
lever was too hard to be moved in a new position. In case the selection of a new speed (always to
be performed with the appliance fully stopped) was not easily adjustable, that is the insertion of
the new speed should result "harder" than usual, pull bacl the speed selection lever to the
previous position, then press once the yellow button and try again to select the new speed.
Press the red "STOP" button and disconnect the plug from the electric socket to turn off the
appliance completely. Wait at least 10 seconds after disconnecting the plug before re-connecting
the appliance to the power supply line.
3. Working procedure
The sequence of actions to be performed for working with the appliance is as follows (see also
the subsection "Fitting and removing bowl and tools"):
1 – Lower the bowl support by operating the side lever/wheel and open the bowl's protection grill;
2 – Insert the bowl;
3 – Pour the ingredients inside the bowl;
4 – Fit the tool suitable for the type of ingredients to be processed (ref. Tab. 2 – Para. 10);
5 – Lift the bowl by operating the side lever/wheel and close the bowl's protection grill;
6 – Switch ON the appliance (ref. subsection "Switching ON/OFF")
