2.4 Parts of the appliance

Control panel (Fig. 1 and Fig. 3 – Para. 8)
The control panel consists of a green "Start" and a red "Stop" buttons for switching the appliance
ON and OFF, a timer (except the model AG10) and a lever to select the work speed (three speeds).
A lever (or a wheel on models AG30 and AG40) on the side of the appliance allows to raise or
lower the bowl for fitting/removing the tools and the bowl itself.
Please check Section 8 – Fig. 3 for the control panel details for each model.
Reference should be made to Section 5 (Installation and operation of appliance) for information
regarding fitting of the tools and use of the appliance.

2.5 Included tools and accessories

The appliance is supplied with the following tools and accessories:
1- Whisk (suitable for whipping cream and egg whites, amalgamating and mixing creams etc.);
1- Spatula (suitable for mixing and kneading shortcrust pastry, potato purée, soft batters etc.);
1- Kneading hook (suitable for leavened dough, bread, pizza etc.);
1- Bowl (see Tab. 1 Para. 9 for the bowl capacity of each model).
Whisk, Spatula, Hook, Bowl and the protection grill of the bowl are made with materials suitable
for contact with food products.

2.6 Protection devices present on the appliance

The appliance is equipped with the following safety protection devices:
- Bowl protection grill that prevents touching the moving tools (with the bowl fitted) during the
normal operation of the appliance.
- Safety microswitch on the protection grill that stops the appliance in case the grill is opened
during the appliance's operation and prevents the appliance from being switched on in case
the grill is not correctly closed.
- Safety microswitch, which stops the appliance if the side lever for raising/lowering the bowl is
pulled, and prevents the appliance from being switched ON if the bowl support is not
correctly raised.
- Amperometric protection against motor overheating (if the appliance has stopped due to
overheating, wait approx. 30 minutes before attempting to restart the appliance).
- Fuse for protection against any short-circuits of the electric motor.
It is strictly forbidden to remove, modify or deactivate any protection/safety
device of the appliance.
