8 Audio input

You can play sound from an external device via the DIGITRADIO 451 CD IR.
>
Connect the external device to the audio input (3) of the DIGITRADIO 451 CD IR. Use a standard stereo jack cable to do
so (3.5mm, not supplied).
>
Press the MODE button until [Aux In] appears in the display.
>
Play music through the external playback device.
To set the volume optimally, use the volume control on both the radio and the connected device.
Please note that if the volume setting of the connected device is very low and the volume setting of the radio is much
higher, interference/noise will also be amplified more and can therefore be heard more clearly. It is recommended that
you adjust the volume of the DIGITRADIO 451 CD IR e.g. on a DAB+ or FM station, switch to the audio input and then
adjust the volume of the connected device so that the total volume of the audio input is approximately the same as the
volume of the DAB+/FM radio station. This also allows you to avoid large volume differences when switching between the
functions of the DIGITRADIO 451 CD IR.
In the AUX input mode, the device remains switched on even if the connected audio source is not providing a signal.
