CHAPTER 7.0
7.1 INITIAL TRANSPORT
The transport and installation of the machine at the user's are carried out by the authorized
personnel.
The machine is handled and transported with its two main parts dismantled and the support
without the pivoting wheels. The machine is sent blocked on the pallet and protected by protective
plastic and corrugated cardboard packing. To assemble the machine, if it has been bought
equipped with base, please refer to the instructions mentioned in the 8.4 Paragraph "Assembling
the Machine".
7.2 SUBSEQUENT TRANSPORT AND SHORT MOVES
For subsequent transport of the machine, if it has been bought equipped with base, it is necessary
to separate the machine into its two main parts following inversely the instructions indicated in
the 8.4. Paragraph "Assembling the machine"
Only for short moves it is possible to push the machine utilizing its pivoting wheels after having
released the mechanical brake of the front wheels.

WARNING : Before moving the machine, and during this operation by pushing it, it is
necessary to make sure that the route is on a level ground. Steep slopes or the presence
of steps or difference of levels can cause an unexpected acceleration and/or
unbalancing of the machine.
7.3

QUALIFICATION OF THE PERSONNEL

The personnel in charge of the slinging, lifting and transport of the machine should be chosen
among the maintenance personnel who are specialized in using lifting cranes and are equipped
with the suitable individual protection devices, especially:
- safety helmet
- safety gloves
- safety shoes
7.4 EQUIPMENT AND MEANS TO BE USED

WARNING : Before moving the machine, make sure that there are not any people near
it.
Pre-arrange and provide yourself with chains or ropes making sure that their
characteristics are compatible with the weight and dimensions of the machine to be
moved and that they are in conformity with the safety regulations in force.
INSTRUCTIONS

The tie belts must be in accordance with the ISO 4878 - ISO 9351 regulations.

Use the belts only if the label containing all the data of the manufacturer is stuck to it and
the capacity is clearly visible.
n
Check the belts before each lifting.
n
Do not use the belts in the presence of damages, cuttings or wear.
n
Follow the loading factors indicated for the different standardized configurations.
n
Use suitable protections for lifting loads with cutting edges.
n
Do not twist or knot the belt.
n
Follow the instructions for use indicated by the belt supplier.
