User instructions

The operator is responsible for the conditions at the
measurement location (e.g. compliance with the accident
prevention regulations (UVV), annual training of operators
of laser equipment about the dangers of laser radiation,
etc.). The presently valid UVV for laser radiation is the
DGUV V3 (since then BGV A3).
The users are trained personnel in the motor vehicle sector.
They must be trained in the operation of the installation
equipment.
Use of the product constitutes acceptance of the fol-
lowing conditions:

The enclosed instructions are the property of
Robert Bosch GmbH or its suppliers and are protected
against reproduction by copyright laws, international
agreements and other national legal stipulations. The
reproduction or disposal of instructions or excerpts
thereof is impermissible and constitutes an offence.
In the event of contravention, Robert Bosch GmbH re-
serves the right to take legal action and assert claims
for damages.
Warranty
The use of non-approved hardware causes changes to
our products and thus results in the exclusion of any
liability and warranty claims, even if the hardware has
been removed again in the meantime.
It is not permissible to make any changes to our
products and these are only to be used together with
genuine accessories and genuine replacement parts.
Otherwise any warranty claims will be invalid.

Only the quick-change clamp approved by BMW may
be employed for holding the wheel laser. Do not use
universal holders.
Liability
Liability on the part of Robert Bosch GmbH is limited to
the amount actually paid by the customer for the prod-
uct concerned. This exemption from liability does not
apply to wilful damage or damage arising from gross
negligence on the part of Robert Bosch GmbH.

Safety Instructions

Safety measures:
The operator is to place the warning "Warning of
Laser beam " at eye level and in a visible manner at
the measuring station.
Do not look directly into laser source.
The operator must comply with the intended use.
Use protective boots!
When performing work with risk of injury to the feet, no-
tice must be given of the necessary wearing of protective
shoes. Foot injuries can, for example, be caused by falling
over or falling tools or work items, trapping the foot, oc-
currence of nails or metal shavings in the soles, etc.

The operator is to place the mandatory sign "Use Safety
Shoes " at eye level and in a clearly visible manner at
the measuring station.

Operators should always wear the recommended
protective shoes.

Risk of crushing

Risk of crushing – danger from unlatched
ACC 100 or falling mirror unit!
With an improper attachment ACC 100 or on a
height adjustment of the mirror, a risk of crush-
ing either hands or feet exists.
Place ACC 100 on a level surface.
2 manual units for the height adjustment of
the mirror.
3.2

Danger of tripping

Danger of tripping....danger from protruding
rails!
Heightened danger of tripping exists with test
and installation work.
Place specific marking and warning signs in
the working area.
