Note: Check the power tool for possible damage.
Before further use of the machine, check that all protective
devices are fully functional. Any lightly damaged parts must
be carefully checked to ensure flawless operation of the tool.
All parts must be properly mounted and all conditions fulfilled
that ensure faultless operation.
Damaged protective devices and parts must be immediately
replaced by an authorised service centre.

Initial Operation

– Carefully remove all parts included in the delivery from
their packaging.
– Remove all packaging material from the machine and the
accessories provided.
– Take care that the packaging material under the motor
block es removed.
Assembly Sequence
For easier working, observe the assembly sequence of the
supplied product features.
1. Assembly from Below
– Bottom plate 39 with pre-mounted Allen screws
2. Assembly from Above
– Inserting the Batteries;
Attaching the Laser Warning Label
– Laser unit 41
– Blade guard 3

– Adjusting the Laser

– Table extension 27
– Universal guide 1 and fence 36
Mounting the Bottom Plate (see figure A)
– Turn the machine around so that it is upside down on the
saw table 7.
– Insert the bottom plate 39 into the intended recesses so
that the Allen screws engage into the holes of the housing.
– Fasten the bottom plate by firmly tightening the Allen
screws (4 mm) with Allen key 13.
Mounting the Laser Unit and the Blade Guard
– Turn the power tool around so that it is in the correct work-
ing position.
Inserting the Batteries (see figure B1)
– Push the battery lid 40 toward the rear and open the bat-
tery compartment.
– Insert the batteries provided according to the specified po-
larity.
– Close the battery compartment.

Attaching the Laser Warning Label (see figure B1)
The power tool is provided with a warning label in English
(marked with number 2 in the representation of the power
tool on the graphics page).
– Before operating for the first time, stick the provided warn-
ing label in your national language over the text of the Eng-
lish warning label.
Mounting the Laser Unit (see figure B2)
For assembly, use the "laser unit" 42 fastening kit. (Allen
screw, nut)
– Turn crank 18 clockwise to the stop, so that the saw blade
28 is in the highest possible position above the saw table.
– Slide the laser unit 41 over riving knife 4 until all mounting
holes are aligned.
– Insert the Allen screw through the mounting holes of the la-
ser unit 41 and the riving knife 4.
– Mount the nut on the Allen screw and tighten firmly.
Mounting the Blade Guard (see figure B3)
For assembly, use the fastening kit for the "blade guard" 43.
(Socket bolt, wing nut)
– Slide the blade guard 3 over riving knife 41 until the
mounting holes are aligned again.
– Insert the socket bolt through the mounting holes of the
blade guard 3, the laser unit 41 and the riving knife 4.
– Mount the wing nut on the socket bolt and tighten firmly.
Note: Adjust the blade guard according to the workpiece
height.
When sawing, the blade guard must always face lightly against
the workpiece.
– Check if the cutting line of the the saw blade is properly in-
dicated by the laser beam (see "Adjusting the Laser",
page 34).
The laser beam can be misadjusted when assembling the
laser unit 41 and the blade guard 3.
Adjusting the Laser
The laser unit 41 is supplied preset.
Before putting into operation for the first time, you should
check if the laser beam is still aligned properly on the pre-
ferred saw blade cutting line after mounting the laser unit 41
and the blade guard 3.
Checking:
– Switch the laser beam on with switch 44.
The laser beam should run parallel to the extension of the cut
on the sticker 15.
Adjusting the Parallelism: (see figure C1)
– Loosen fastening screw 45 (using a suitable screwdriver).
– Move the housing 46 of the laser until the laser beam runs
parallel to the cut over the complete length.
– Carefully retighten fastening screw 45.
The laser beam must now be set flush to the saw blade, so that
the cutting line of the saw blade is correctly marked.
Set the laser beam either centred to the saw blade or exactly
left or right of the cutting line, as individually required.
