CLOSING THE CHASSIS

To close the chassis, press the button (P) and
simultaneously rotate the rear handle (Q) until the chassis
closes completely.

identify and reach the correct closing position.

To transport the closed chassis, use the rear handle

Never lift the chassis by the handlebar.
APTICA XT: ADAPTIVE CRUISE

The Aptica XT chassis has independently adjustable
front and rear suspension.
These are the basic configurations suggested, depending on
whether you are using a carrycot, stroller or car seat.
However, it is advisable to look for the most suitable one
according to the ground on which you are travelling, the
weight of the child and the height of the handle.
HARD

the carrycot on fairly even ground, place
both the rear and front suspension on
HARD; this increases the smoothness of the
wheels, guaranteeing more comfort for the
child.

To adjust the front suspension to HARD, firmly
press the lever (E2) on the front wheel assembly. The arrow
on the lever will show H.

To adjust the rear suspension to HARD, firmly lift
the lever (D2). H will be visible on the same.
SOFT

the rear and front suspension to SOFT; this
reduces the vibrations transmitted by the
roughness of the ground, both to the child
and to the handle of the chassis.

To adjust the front suspension to SOFT, move the
lever (E2) on the front wheel assembly to the horizontal
position. The arrow on the lever will show S.

To adjust the rear suspension to SOFT, firmly lower
the lever (D2). S will be visible on the same.

Caution! Regardless of the position selected,
it is recommended never to set different settings for
wheels on the same axle.
REAR WHEELS BRAKE

To operate the brake, push the lever (A11) on the
right, on the rear axle.
Always engage the brake during stops.
BLOCKING/UNBLOCKING THE FRONT WHEELS

The chassis features swivel wheels that can be
blocked or unblocked by operating the lever (W5) on both
front wheel assemblies.
ADJUSTING THE HANDLEBAR
The chassis features a telescopic handlebar, which can be
adjusted to 4 different positions.

Operate both levers (R) and simultaneously raise or
lower the handlebar to the desired position.

STORAGE BASKET
The chassis features a spacious storage basket (L), with a
pocket.

The basket is fully mounted on the Aptica XT
chassis and partially mounted on the Aptica STD chassis.
To complete fastening, wrap the Velcro flap (L1) around the
rear spacer tube then attach the slotted flap (L2) to the two
pins (L3).

Pass the two bands with button (L4) around the
side tubes and attach them to the basket.
If necessary, the basket can be easily removed from the chassis.

To remove it, remove the flap with Velcro fastening
(L1) around the rear spacer tube, then release the slotted flat
(L2) from the corresponding pegs (L3).

Detach the two straps with button (L4) from the
side tubes.

Detach both side fixing hooks (L5) from the
corresponding front pegs (L6).

Finally release the rigid flap (L7) from the front
centre peg (L8) and completely remove the basket.
FEEDING BOTTLE HOLDER
The chassis is equipped with a standard feeding bottle
holder (K).

To fasten the feeding bottle holder, place the upper
guide in correspondence of the hook (K1) on the chassis and
push it in its housing until it is fully attached.
ADDITIONAL CARRYING UNITS FOR CHASSIS: CARRYCOT,
STROLLER SEAT AND CAR SEAT (if present)

The chassis can be used with the Aptica carrycot,
the stroller seat and the car seat, if present.
APTICA CARRYCOT
ATTACHING THE CARRYCOT TO THE CHASSIS

Take the carrycot from the handle and attach it to
the chassis in correspondence of the housings on both sides
of the structure and place it solely in rear facing position.

Once the carrycot is installed, check that the
indicators (S) on both the attachment devices are Green.
If they are Red, reposition the carrycot correctly until both
parts are clearly heard to click into place.

Caution: make sure that the carrycot is properly
attached on both sides before use.
DETACHING THE CARRYCOT FROM THE CHASSIS

Operate the lever (T) located outside the carrycot
and simultaneously lift it, gripping it by the handle.
FITTING THE HOOD LINING

Wrap the hood lining (F) around the handle, fixing
it with the dedicated buttons (F1) and with the central Velcro
fastening strap (F2).

Complete the fitting by attaching the side and rear
Velcro fastenings (F3) to the carrycot.
HANDLE AND HOOD ADJUSTMENT

To adjust both the handle and the carrycot hood,
press the two internal buttons simultaneously (F4).

Caution: to transport the carrycot, always hold
it by the handle.
ATTACHING THE APRON

To fit the apron (G) on the carrycot, first fix the press
studs (G1) and then the two slot buttons (G2).

The front flap of the apron (G3) can be extended
and fixed in a position that protects your child from the cold.

To facilitate access to the child, the apron can be
partially folded, detaching only the two side press studs (G1).
The apron stays fixed to the carrycot through the two slot
buttons (G2).
