b. ENGINE
Perform troubleshooting with a known good 12V battery.
• Hard Starting
Check whether the indicators (output,
overload, oil alert) and i-Monitor are on
when the ignition switch is turned ON.
Check whether the oil alert indicator is ON
and "OIL" is displayed on the i-Monitor.
Not displayed
Check whether the starter motor is
operating with the ignition switch turned to
START.
Operates
Check whether an error code is displayed
on the i-Monitor.

Check the fuel level in the tank.
Sufficient
Loosen the drain screw and check whether
fuel is reaching the carburetor.
