7.3.9 Cleaning the flue pipe
► Open the clean-out port on the flue pipe (Fig. 32).
► Sweep the deposit to the back into the chimney
and down into the stove (Fig. 32).
9 Close the clean-out port.

7.3.10 Clean catalytic combustors

After 50 hours of operation:
► Open the firebox door.
► Insert the included brush in the clean-out port (Fig. 33).
► Brush the catalytic combustors as shown (Fig. 34).
► Remove the brush from the clean-out port (Fig. 35).
9 Close the firebox door.

After 200 hours of operation:
► Open the firebox door.
► Slide the firebrick retainer upward (Fig. 36).
► Slide the firebrick retainer forward (Fig. 37).
► Carefully remove the top fire brick from the retainer
as shown (Fig. 38).
► Slide the catalytic combustor unit upward and turn so it fits
through the opening (Fig. 39).
► Remove the catalytic combustor unit through the opening
(Fig. 40).
► Visually inspect to check if the catalytic combustors are
pervious.
► In the event of visible imperviousness, vacuum, wash or blow
out the catalytic combustors to ensure they are pervious again.
9 Reinstall the removed parts in the reverse order.
