Check the correct air throughput by holding a
sheet of paper a distance of 10 cm in front of the
air outlet grille. The paper must be blown away
from the air outlet grille.
6. Operation
6.1 Topple cut-out
If the equipment topples during operation, it will
be automatically turned off by the switch (Fig. 2/
Item 2). After the equipment is stood up again
(switch Fig. 2/Item 2) must be pressed), it will re-
start immediately.
6.2 Heat output switches (Fig. 3/Item 3)
The device has two heat output switches (I and II)
with switch settings "I" (ON) and "0" (OFF).
a) Switching on the equipment
Press the switch marked "I". The equipment will
heat with half of its heat output. If you press the
second switch, the equipment will heat with its full
output. If you switch the switch marked "II" to "0",
the equipment will heat with half of its heat output
again. If just the switch marked "II" is in position
"I" (ON) but the switch marked "I" is in position "0"
(OFF), the equipment will not switch on.
b) Switching off the equipment
Switch both switches to the "0" position.
6.3 Thermostat control (Fig. 3/Item 4)
Turn the control fully to the left (maximum) until
the desired temperature is reached. Then turn
the control back until you hear a click and the
equipment switches off . Then turn the control
back until you hear a click and the equipment
switches off .
The thermostat control switches the heater on
automatically if the room temperature falls below
the temperature set on the thermostat and off as
soon as the room temperature is reached.
6.4 Overheating guard
In case of excessive heating the equipment will
shut down automatically. If this occurs, turn off the
equipment, disconnect the mains plug and wait
a few minutes for the equipment to cool. After eli-
minating the cause (e.g. a covered air grille), the
equipment can be switched on again.

7. Cleaning, maintenance and
ordering of spare parts
7.1 Cleaning
Before carrying out any cleaning and main-
tenance work the equipment must be turned
off, disconnected from the power supply and
cooled down.
Use a damp cloth to clean the casing.
Remove dust pollution with a vacuum cleaner.
7.2 Servicing
Maintenance and repair work may only be
carried out by an electrical servicing contrac-
tor or ISC GmbH.
Check the mains lead at regular intervals
for signs of defects or damage. A damaged
mains lead may only be replaced by an elec-
trician or ISC GmbH in compliance with the
relevant regulations.
There are no parts inside the equipment
which require additional maintenance.
7.3 Ordering spare parts
Please provide the following information on all
orders for spare parts:
Model/type of the equipment
Article number of the equipment
ID number of the equipment
Part number of the required spare part

8. Disposal and recycling

The equipment is supplied in packaging to pre-
vent it from being damaged in transit. The raw
materials in this packaging can be reused or
recycled. The equipment and its accessories are
made of various types of material, such as metal
and plastic. Never place defective equipment in
your household refuse. The equipment should
be taken to a suitable collection center for proper
disposal. If you do not know the whereabouts of
such a collection point, you should ask in your
local council offi ces.
