7.2 Thermostat control (Fig. 1 / Item 2):
Note:
The fan will start as soon as the equipment is
switched on.
The equipment will only heat up when the room
temperature falls below the temperature set on the
thermostat and the heat output switch is on.
Switch on the required heating output. Turn the
control to "max" until the required room temperature
has been reached. Then turn down the control until
you hear a clear click. The thermostat will switch the
heating element on and off automatically.
7.3 Overheating guard
In case of excessive heating, the heating function
shuts down automatically. The fan will restart.
If this occurs, turn off the equipment, disconnect the
mains plug and wait a few minutes for the equipment
to cool. After eliminating the cause (e.g. a covered
air grille), the equipment can be switched on again.
If the overheating guard triggers repeatedly, please
contact your customer service center (in Germany
ISC GmbH).

7.4 Switching off

After the hot equipment has been switched off (by
turning the heat output switch to "0") the fan may
continue to run for a while to cool the equipment.
However, if the fan continues to run for more than 10
minutes, this is a sign that it cannot cut out
automatically because of the high room temperature.
In this case you must pull out the power plug.
8. Cleaning, maintenance and ordering
of spare parts
Always pull out the mains power plug before starting
any cleaning work.
