6.1 Topple cut-out
The equipment has a topple cut-out. This will trip
as soon as the device is tipped beyond certain
angle. It will cut in again after the device has been
placed upright.
6.2 Setting the heat output (Fig. 1)
The heat output is set by pulling the cord of the
pull switch (5) once or repeatedly.
The selected heat output can be read off the dis-
play (2). If the maximum heat output is selected
and the pull switch is activated once more, the
appliance shuts down.
6.3 Display of heat settings (Fig. 1 / Item 2)
No heat output = Display indicates „0"
Minimum heat output = Display indicates „1"
Medium heat output = Display indicates „2"
Maximum heat output = Display indicates „3"

7. Replacing the power cable

Danger!
If the power cable for this equipment is damaged,
it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its
after-sales service or similarly trained personnel
to avoid danger.
8. Cleaning, maintenance and
ordering of spare parts
Danger!
Always pull out the mains power plug before star-
ting any cleaning work.
8.1 Cleaning
Maintenance and repair work may only be
carried out by an authorized electrical servi-
cing contractor or ISC GmbH.
Use a damp cloth to clean the casing.
Remove dust pollution with a vacuum cleaner.
Never use combustible cleaning agents.
To remove dust on the safety grille and hea-
ting elements, use a brush with long soft
bristles.
In cases of very stubborn dirt the appliance
should be cleaned by a professional.

8.2 Maintenance
There are no parts inside the equipment which
require additional maintenance.
8.3 Ordering replacement parts:
Please quote the following data when ordering
replacement parts:
Type of machine
Article number of the machine
Identification number of the machine

9. Fault
In the event that the heating elements do not
produce heat, check if the equipment is switched
on. If the household fuse or e.I.c.b. has tripped,
please ensure that no other high-power devices
are loading the fuse in addition.
If the appliance still fails to work after you have
checked the above points, please contact your
customer service center (in Germany ISC GmbH).

10. Disposal and recycling

The equipment is supplied in packaging to pre-
vent it from being damaged in transit. The raw
materials in this packaging can be reused or
recycled. The equipment and its accessories are
made of various types of material, such as metal
and plastic. Never place defective equipment in
your household refuse. The equipment should
be taken to a suitable collection center for proper
disposal. If you do not know the whereabouts of
such a collection point, you should ask in your
local council offi ces.
11. Storage
Store the equipment and accessories in a dark
and dry place at above freezing temperature. The
ideal storage temperature is between 5 and 30
°C. Store the electric tool in its original packaging.
