7.4 Setting the desired temperature

Note: A desired temperature from 7 to 30°C can be
set.
A desired temperature from 7 - 30 °C can be set with
a low and high heat output by pressing the "+" or "-"
button.
For the equipment to heat, the desired temperature
(17) must be set at least 2°C higher than the indicated
equipment temperature (16).
If the desired temperature (17) is exceeded by 2°C,
the equipment will switch off.
7.5 Overheating guard
In case of excessive heating the equipment will shut
down automatically. If this occurs, turn off the
equipment, disconnect the mains plug and wait a few
minutes for the equipment to cool. After eliminating
the cause (e.g. a covered air grille), the equipment
can be switched on again.
7.6 Topple cut-out
NOTE! The equipment has a topple cut-out. If the
equipment is tilted beyond a certain angle, it will be
deactivated automatically and only restarted after it
has been returned to its upright position.

8. Replacing the power cable

Danger!
If the power cable for this equipment is damaged, it
must be replaced by the manufacturer or its after-
sales service or similarly trained personnel to avoid
danger.

9. Maintenance and cleaning

Danger!
Before carrying out any cleaning and
n
maintenance work the appliance must be turned
off, disconnected from the power supply and
cooled down.
Maintenance and repair work may only be carried
n
out by an authorized electrical servicing
contractor or ISC GmbH.
Check the mains lead at regular intervals for signs
n
of defects or damage. A damaged mains lead
may only be replaced by an electrician or ISC
GmbH in compliance with the relevant
regulations.
Use a damp cloth to clean the casing.
n
Remove dust pollution with a vacuum cleaner.
n
10. Storage
The heater has to be stored in a dry place, covered if
possible.
When the equipment is not in use, you can wind up
the power cable on the cable holder (Fig. 8 / Item C).
To do so, pull the two cable holders outwards.

12. Disposal and recycling

The appliance is supplied in packaging to prevent it
from being damaged in transit. The raw materials in
this packaging can be reused or recycled. The
appliance and its accessories are made of various
types of material, such as metal and plastic. Defective
components must be disposed of as special waste.
Ask your dealer or your local council.
