TROUBLESHOOTING:

1) PROBLEM: You have successfully loaded and punctured a new car-
tridge, put the safety in the FIRE position and your marker will not fire:

❏ Put the safety in the Safe Mode (see page 4), ❏ remove the magazine as

outlined in Unloading Your Marker and Air Supply Cartridge Removal (see
page 12) and ❏ install the Barrel blocking Device (see page 2). Follow: To

2) PROBLEM: Air is leaking out of the gas vent hole
S
❏ The most common air leak is caused by a
dirty or damaged puncture seal. Check the
H
Puncture Seal
for dirt or damage: (see
Puncture Valve Disassembly on page 17).
3) PROBLEM: Magazine will not feed correctly:
❏ Make sure there are not more than 8 balls loaded into the magazine and
they are aligned in the magazine as shown on page 7.
❏ Clean the magazine with a damp towel to wipe off paint, grease, and debris.
Dry springs immediately, if necessary to help prevent rusting.
4) PROBLEM: You pull the trigger and the marker does not pressurize:
❏ Adjust the CO
Cap assembly (see instructions on page 25).

❏ Puncture valve assembly needs to be lubricated (see Puncture Valve
Disassembly on page 17).
5) PROBLEM: Air is leaking from the air supply cylinder connection to
the remote coil tank adapter.
❏ The most common leak occurs from a bad air supply valve O-ring (see
Repairing Air Supply Cylinder Leaks on page 25).
PROBLEMS AFTER DISASSEMBLY / ASSEMBLY OF YOUR MARKER:
Failure to reassemble parts correctly can cause damage to parts, air leaks,
and other problems. Always double check to be sure parts are to be sure
parts are clean, not damaged, lubricated and installed correctly when you
disassemble / reassemble your marker,
6) PROBLEM: You pull the trigger and the marker does not pressurize:
❏ Check that the puncture pin cap

7) PROBLEM: You install a cartridge and you hear air leaking:
❏ Check to be sure the O-rings of the long gas line and the short gas line
are not damaged (see Marker Disassembly on page 15).
8) PROBLEM: The regulator vents air continuously
❏ Check the regulator pin

properly. Clean, inspect, and replace if damaged.

9) PROBLEM: You pull the trigger back and it binds and will not release:
❏ Check the firing pin
for out of alignment. Disassemble the Firing Valve
and make sure the firing pin is pushed in flush with the firing valve body during
assembly (see Firing Valve Disassembly on page 16).
10) PROBLEM: There is air leaking out of the barrel:
❏ Check the front valve spool O-rings
Disassembly on page 18).
11) PROBLEM: When the trigger is pulled slowly - a short leaking sound
is normal. If the leak continues without the gun firing:
❏ Check the valve spool rear O-ring
for dirt or damage (see Air Valve Disassembly diagram on page 18).
12) PROBLEM: The trigger will not move at all when trying to fire:
❏ Check the trigger safety
to be sure it is not installed backwards. The
red O-ring should be to the left by (SAFE) and black O-ring to the right by
(FIRE) (see Marker Disassembly on page 16).
13) PROBLEM: You fire the marker but no paintballs are fired.
• If the front bolt
(on page 18) sticks in the forward position paintballs
will not load. Check the ball latch
(see Marker Disassembly on page 16).
• If the front bolt
(on page 18) is installed correctly and does not return
completely the paintballs will not load. ❏ Check the barrel adapter
the air valve assembly
for dirt or damage (see Marker Disassembly on
page 15). NOTE: If a problem still exists, contact Tippmann Service Depart-
ment at 1-800-533-4831 or your local paintball dealer.
Optional Remote Line Adaptor - Connecting and Disconnecting and
Air Supply Cartridge / Cylinder - Installation / Removal
NOTE: Included in the following instructions are installation, turning on and
turning off the air supply of the Tippmann H-01 Remote line. If your remote
line is not this Tippmann model, follow the instructions provided with your
remote line for installation, turning on and turning off the air supply of your
remote line.
1) Unload your marker: Eye protection designed for paintball use
must be worn by the user and any person within range. Put trigger
safety in Safe Mode (see page 4 instructions). Install the barrel
blocking device (see page 2). Remove the magazine (go to page
7 and follow STEP 2: Magazine Removal, Loading and Insertion
instructions).
2) Pull and hold the Remote Coil fitting Locking Ring
down
to connect or remove the Remote Coil fitting
3) To connect to the marker: with the Locking Ring held
down
, push the coil fitting
and release the locking ring up to lock
