Page P.16
For beginners, a model flight simulator is best to learn and train the different control motions.
In practice, training landing gear has also proven helpful.
If you do not use any 2.4 GHz remote control, check before activating the transmitter that the channel used by you is free.
Push the control lever for the pitch function to the bottom position and switch on the transmitter. Take the model into
operation after this. If you notice during hover flight that the power is no longer sufficient, land at once and recharge the
flight battery.
Keep a sufficient distance to the rotor when checking tracking.
• Mark the blade tip of one rotor blade.
• Increase the speed in steps and check tracking.
• Adjust the rotor blade linkage rods (see page P.11, items #A and B) precisely.
• Use the pitch linkage rods (see page P.11, item #C) to adjust tracking for a stable hover flight. The rotor blade angle of
attack in hover flight (flight mode normal) should be approx. +5 to +6°.

Upper figure:
The figure shows the height control of the model helicopter, with the respective lever motions in remove control systems for
mode I and mode II displayed.
Stand approx. 5 m behind the model helicopter and push the pitch control lever up slowly step by step. The rotor speed will
increase slowly until the helicopter lifts off. When landing, slowly pull the pitch control lever back again.
Important!
Do not take back the pitch control lever suddenly, because this will cause the helicopter to touch down hard.
Centre figure:
The figure shows the directional control of the model helicopter. Slowly push the pitch control lever up step by step. The
rotor speed will increase slowly until the helicopter lifts off. Try the direction control with small control lever deflections first.
Lower figure:
The figure shows the tail control of the model helicopter. Slowly push the pitch control lever up step by step. The rotor speed
will increase slowly until the helicopter lifts off. Try the tail control with small control lever deflections first.
Important:
If the model helicopter tail points at the pilot, the model moves as you control it at the transmitter. If the model's
fuselage tip points at you, the model will fly to the left if you steer to the left, but from the pilot's view, this will be
the right.
