10.3 VACUUM VALVE MAINTENANCE

Some applications may sometimes result in a premature damage of the valve which ensures the
functions of vacuum regulation and holding. Check regularly the contamination level and the state
of the vacuum valve. An excessive dirt reduces the flow rate (longer suction time; lower vacuum). If
the valve is damaged it may interfere with the good functioning of the ejector. In case of important
contamination or damage, the valve should be cleaned or replaced (gasket kit 02090264).
Replacement procedure:
1. Unscrew the nickel plated exten-
sion from the vacuum opening in
order to remove the vacuum valve
from the venturi body.
2. Remove the nitrile diaphragm from the valve seat and clean the vacuum
valve. (In some cases the diaphragm may be withdrawn from its seat and
is inside the venturi body, take it out).
3. Mount a new diaphragm issued from the O-ring kit part n°: 02090264, if necessary replace the two
O-rings of the valve seat (O-Ø15x1.5) and of the extension 1/2 G (O-ringØ21x1.5).
4. Re screw the extension+vacuum valve unit in the body of the venturi and tighten lightly on the stop.
5. The venturi may now be remounted on the production site (should the problems persist, please send
us back the GVMAX® for control and restoring).

10.4 SILK12C SILENCER

With time the silencer becomes dirty because of dust, oil... and its efficiency is reduced. The unit must
be replaced. A cleaning is not recommended.
