7- VACUUM AND VACUUM NETWORK CONNECTIONS

VACUUM CONNECTION
By the vacuum hole ½ Gas at the bottom side of the ejector. This connection must be executed care-
fully in order to guarantee a perfect tightness essential for a correct working of the ejector.
VACUUM NETWORK
Recommendations for vacuum network (See appendix 1 and 2 pages 10 and 11)
Keep the maximum section of the tube (tested industrial vacuum) on the biggest length possible.
Principle fixed vacuum network (robot ou inter-press):
ƒ The GVMAXV2-2 (V2-2R) must be installed very close to the peripheral removable system/ suction
cups.
ƒ It must be air-tight. For this, use screwed fittings.
ƒ It must be correctly sized, keep the maximum section on the biggest length possible at the vacuum
connection output ½ Gas. Generally, it is recommended to foresee a hose Ø 8X10 (tested industrial
vacuum) of max. length 2 meters.
ƒ It must be homogeneous (see appendix n°1 and 2), an equilibrated repartition of volumes is manda-
tory (according to Standard E06 03 105).
