8. STARTING

8.1 IMPLEMENTATION PROCEDURE

You have to take the model without any pneu-
matic and electrical connections and to proceed
to the following checking:

Connection of the pneumatic supply to the

inlet port 1 of the ejector
Connection of the electrical supply on the
M12 connector «E».

Power supply in + 24 VDC of the pole 1 of
this connector.
Apply the incoming voltage on the pole 4
of the M12 connector «S». Do not cut the

supply on the poles 1 of the M12 connectors
«E» and «S».
Apply the incoming voltage on the pole 2 of
M12 connector «S». Do not cut the supply on
4
the pole 1 of the M12 connector «E» and on
the pole 4 of the M12 connector «S».
Release the incoming voltage on the pole
2 of the M12 connector «S». Do not cut the

supply on the pole 1 of the M12 connector
«E» and on the pole 4 of the M12 connector
«S».
Release the incoming voltage on the pole
4 of the M12 connector «S». Do not cut the

supply on the pole 1 of the M12 connector
«E».

The device is in "Suction" phase : the air
passes through the ejector, is ejected by the
silencer 12 and creates an aspiration through
the vacuum port 2.
The vacuum switch display lights. The device
is in "Vacuum regulation" phase: once the
vacuum threshold (H1) reached on the vacuum
switch, the ejector compressed air supply is
shut off. The vacuum generation starts again
only when the vacuum level has overrun the
hysteresis value pre-registered on the vacuum
switch. In order to underline this way of regula-
tion, you need to plug the vacuum port 2 or to
connect this port to the vacuum network when
parts are being gripped.
The device is in "on hold" phase: the air does
not pass through the ejector anymore and the
vacuum generation stops.
The device is in "Blow-off" phase: the com-
pressed air arrives directly in the vacuum port
2, which allows an accelerated release of the
gripped parts.
The device is in "on hold" phase.
The device is in "Vacuum regulation" phase.
