GVMAXV2-2/V2-2R - DIRECTIONS FOR USE
10. MAINTENANCE
10.1 GENERAL INFORMATION
In case of external dirty marks, clean the ejector with a soft cloth and soapy water (max. 60° C). Take
care that the silencer does not be immersed in soapy water.
10.2 TROUBLESHOOTING
Trouble
Vacuum level is
not correct.
Vacuum
increase is too
slow.
The ejector
beats rapidly.
Load capacity
cannot be held
The ejector
does not stop
operating
Vacuum level
decreases in
the system but
the ejector does
not operate
anymore
The ejector
does not
operate or
the PSA 100
BGU / B does
not operate
www.coval.com
Possible reason
Filter dirty
Vacuum valve dirty
Leaks in vacuum network
Leaks on suction pad
Operating pressure too low
Internal diameter of tubes too
small
Vacuum level too low
Suction pad too small
Switching point H1 of the
threshold 1 higher adjusted
than the reachable vacuum by
the GVMAXV2-2R.
The switching point L1 value is
regulated too low
(GVMAXV2-2R model)
Defective electric supply
No input pressure
Solution
Clean or replace the filter cartridge
Clean or replace the vacuum valve
Check coupling and tubes
Check the suction pad
Increase the pressure (see curves with technical data)
See recommended tubes diameters
With the vacuum regulation, increase the value
of threshold 1 of the vacuum switch (GVMAV2-2R
model)
Select a larger suction pad
Reduce H1 switching point (vacuum regulation)
(GVMAXV2-2R model)
Increase the value of switching point L1 of threshold 1
(recommendation: H1-L1 = 0.10 bar), (version
GVMAXV2-2R)
Correctly reconnect the cables of electric supply,
automaton inputs and outputs
Reconnect the network compressed air, check the
pressure (between 4.5 - 6 bar)
