6- ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS

6.1 ELECTRICAL SUPPLY

The ejector in order to meet the requirements of the automation is fitted out with an electronic circuit
(beam) set up on the ejector's body.
Ä Voltage used: 24 V DC regulated at +/- 5 to 10 %.
The electrical beam is interchangeable, even in case of trouble and it is connected to the vacuum
feeders by two M12 connectors.
ƒ «INPUT» connector: it supplies the vacuum switch and resends the information «vacuum reached»
to the automaton.
ƒ «OUTPUT» connector: it supplies the solenoid valves of the ejector and selects the «Suction», «Shut-
down», «Blow-off» modes.
NB: emergency stop shuts off the outputs and lets the supply on the inputs in order to keep the infor-
mation about vacuum level.

6.2 ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS
AUTOMATON INPUTS
M12 connector 5 poles:
1: Power supply +24 VDC (Brown)
3: 0 Volt (or -) (Blue)
4: Threshold 2 Output, Vacuum switches (Black)
AUTOMATON OUTPUTS
M12 connector 5 poles:
2: Blow-off control (power supply +24VDC) (white)
4: Vacuum locking, waiting position (Neutral position)
(power supply +24VDC) (black)
IMPORTANT : pins (1) and (3) of input connector provide 24VDC power in the vacuum switch,
regulate it, feed NO (Normally open) pilot, for a maximum consumption of 150mA.
