" Cleaning the Fuel Filter Pot
When period of operation reaches approx . 100 hours,
clean the fuel filter .
This job should not be done in the field, but in a clean
place so as to prevent dust intrusion .
i11 Close the fuel filter pot cock .

(2) Unscrew and remove the top cap, and rinse the inside
with kerosene .
131 Take out the element and dip it in the kerosene to
rinse .

(4) After cleaning, reassemble the fuel filter, keeping out
dust and dirt .
(5) To bleed the fuel filter, open the fuel cock and loosen
the bleeding screws (two) with two or three turns of a
wrench . When air bubbles disappear from the fuel
flowing out, retighten the bleeding screws .
(6) Also bleed the injection pump .
[CAUTION]
If dust and dirt enter the fuel, the fuel pump and injec-
tion nozzle are subject to quick wear . To shut off this,
be sure to clean the fuel filter pot periodically .

(2) Desserrez et retirez le bouchon de dessus, et rincez
I'interieur avec de I'huile legere .
131 Sortez les elements et trempez les dans I'huile legere
pour les rioter .

(4) Apres nettoyage, reassemblez le filtre
a
carburant en le
protegeant de la poussiere et de la salete .

Pour reamorcer le filtre
a
carburant, ouvrez le robinet
et desserrez les vis d'aeration (deux) avec deux ou trois
tours de cle . Quand les bulles d'air ont disparu lorsque
le carburant s'ecoule, resserrez les vis de ventilation .
16) Reamorcez egalement la pompe d'injection .
[ATTENTION]
Si la poussiere ou la salete se melange au fuel, la pompe
de carburant et I'injecteur soot suceptible de s'user
rapidement . Pour empecher cela, nettoyez le corps du
filtre
a
carburant periodiquement .
