Fit or remove the cutting attachment

Remove the stop pin.

Always remove the stop pin used to
block the shaft since the drive train will
otherwise be damaged when the engine
runs.

Use a deflector that matches the cutting

All approved mowing heads are
mounted to the gearbox in the same
way.
FS 510 C-M, FS 560 C-M
Check that the deflector on the

machine is approved for mowing
heads – if not, perform the next two
steps.
Remove grass shield with thrust
N
plate – if fitted.
Remove the non-approved
N
deflector.
Mount deflector for mowing heads.

Fit grass shield together with 60-mm
N
diameter thrust plate.

Block the drive shaft.

Screw the mowing head
N
counterclockwise onto the shaft (1)
and tighten it down firmly.

Block the drive shaft.

Unscrew the mowing head
N
clockwise.
