3. Apply +24 V DC at the IN1/GN connection.
The "vacuum ON" (suction) process is interrupted, regardless of the switching
state of the internal regulator.
Solenoid valve "vacuum": LED lit (for ECS...20/30, the LED is integrated in the
CN1 electrical connector).
4. Apply +24 V DC at the IN2/YE connection.
The "release pulse ON" (blow off) process is activated with a simultaneous
interruption of "vacuum ON" (suction), regardless of the switching state of the
internal regulator. The GN connection does not need to be occupied for this sequence!
Solenoid valve "release pulse": LED lit (for ECS...20/30, the LED is integrated in
the CN1 electrical connector).

Service and Repairs

Cleaning and servicing
Penetration of contamination and fluids can lead to malfunctioning.
This no longer guarantees the safe function of the ejector.
O Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness when working on the
pneumatics system.
O Do not use high-pressure cleaners.
1. Close all openings of the ejector using suitable protection caps or equipment.
2. Check that all seals and plugs for the plug connections are firmly fitted so that no
moisture can penetrate into the ejector during cleaning.
3. Only clean the ejector using a damp cloth made from a non-fiber-releasing fabric.
Only use water and, if necessary, a mild detergent.
Maintenance
The ejector is maintenance-free if used as intended.
Replacing wear parts
12
The wear parts of the ejector are marked in Fig.
O Replace the wear parts if contaminated.
O Use the part numbers listed in this table to order wear parts from AVENTICS.

Disassembly and Exchange

Danger of injury if disassembled under pressure or voltage!
Injuries and damage to the product or system parts may occur if the pressure and
voltage are not switched off before beginning disassembly.
O Make sure that the relevant system parts are not under pressure or voltage.
