Function of the SC431-II
The SC431II can help protect your plants and furniture from the intense rays of
the sun. When the preset sun threshold is exceeded, your shutter/sun protec-
tion system will automatically be adjusted down until the SC431II is shaded.
The system will then come to a halt and readjust itself until the light sensor is
uncovered.
Setting mode
In the setting mode the sun and twilight thresholds can be adjusted with the help
of the control light.
The threshold values are indicated by the control light as follows:
Control light
Sun protection function
/ Twilight function
Sun protection function
The sun threshold value is preset to a mean value.
The sun threshold setting ranges from very overcast (Position 1) to direct sun-
light. The sun protection function is switched off at position 0 (control light, yel-
low, flashes 8 x).
Sun threshold value is exceeded for longer the 3 min.  Shutter is closed.
Sun threshold value is not reached for longer than 15 min.  Shutter is opened.
Twilight function
The twilight threshold setting ranges from darkness (Position 1) to early twilight.
The twilight function is switched off at position 0 (control light, yellow, flashes
8 x).
Twilight threshold value is not reached  Shutter is closed.

The twilight function is factory set to off.
