Setting the wind speed

The wind sensitivity of the control unit can be set by means of the
potentiometer in the WindControl.
1. The maximum wind sensitivity is set by turning the potentiometer
anti-clockwise (left stop).
2. The minimum wind sensitivity is set by turning the potentiometer
clockwise (maximum wind speed 20 m/s).
Caution
C L N L
The wind threshold may only be set by qualified person-
nel.
In the event of non-observance, the manufacturer or sup-
plier accepts no liability for injuries arising to persons or
damage to property nor for any consequential damages.
Information on the maximum permissible wind threshold
can be found in the documentation for the sunshade sys-
tem or in that of the sunshade manufacturer.

General information on the radio system

The WindControl operates on the 40MHz European radio frequency.
Only units that are active for short periods of time may transmit on this
frequency, for example (garage) door control units.
Note
If another device in the immediate vicinity transmits at
the same time as the TouchControl, the possibility can-
not be ruled out that occasionally a radio command will
not be detected by the receiver.
For safety reasons, the receiver will only execute a com-
mand if it has detected it with absolute certainty.

Commissioning the TouchControl

The batteries are already inserted in the TouchControl at delivery.
They are protected against unintentional discharge during transport
by paper strips. Before first use, the paper strips must be removed,
simply by pulling them out. To do this, open the cover of the battery
compartment on the back of the TouchControl.
Note
If the batteries have been incorrectly inserted, no dam-
age will be caused to the TouchControl, but it will not
operate.
Battery type A23 e.g.: Duracell A23-3LR50 12V
New and old batteries should not be used together. The
transmitter will also operate with just one battery, but
with a smaller transmitting power.
