Sunshade function in the event of wind alarm
If the set wind threshold value is exceeded, the awning is retracted
irrespective of the current light value. The sunshade remains in this
position until the wind speed remains below the set actuation thresh-
old without interruption for 15 minutes. If the wind speed remains be-
low the set value, the awning is released to act as a sunshade again
and extends again after a further 1.5 minutes.
Switching off the sunshade function
In order to deactivate the WindControl sunshade function, change the
sliding switch on the TouchControl over to manual mode. Then press
the STOP button until the WindControl acknowledges the switching off
of the sunshade function.
Status display
The red light diode on the WindControl board displays the current op-
erating status by means of flashing code:
LED permanently
illuminated
LED flashes 2 x
C L N L
LED flashes 3 x
LED flashes 4 x
LED flashes 6 x
Notes for the electrician and sunshade engineer
CAUTION
Protect the electrical connections against damp.
BECKER control units bear the CE mark. They comply
with current EU guidelines and fulfil EMC regulations.
If the WindControl is operated in conjunction with units
that contain interference sources, the electrician must
ensure appropriate interference suppression for the af-
fected units.
Operating Manual WindControl
The maximum permissible wind strength has been
exceeded, the WindControl signals wind alarm
The WindControl is in automatic mode, the light
value is below the stored maximum light value for
more than 3 minutes, the awning is/has been re-
tracted
The WindControl is in automatic mode, the maxi-
mum permissible light value has been exceeded,
the awning is/has been extended
The delay time between the wind alarm and the
release of the sunshade is still active (max. 15
min.)
The wind transmitter connecting line has been in-
terrupted.
