1. Remove all packaging materials and any
transport safety devices.
2. Clean all parts with a damp cloth, as descri-
bed in the chapter "Cleaning and care" on
page 21.
3. Check to make sure that the appliance is
stable. Choose a cool, shady spot, since
direct sunlight or heat from an oven can
cause the milk in the milk tank to warm
more quickly and spoil.
4. Fill the water tank with 600 ml fresh, cold
tap water.
5. Caution: Do not use carbonated or distilled
water. This could damage the appliance.
However, non-carbonated bottled water is
safe to use.
6. Insert the cleaning cup in the appliance.
The long spout of the container must slide
into the guide rail in the base housing.
7. Connect the end of the power cord with the
socket on the side of the appliance.
8. Plug the other end of the power cord into
an electrical outlet (220-240 V~, 50/60 Hz)
and switch on the appliance with the ON/
OFF switch.

tap water.
2. Pour fresh, cold milk into the milk tank. You

gram starts.

30 seconds and then you can use the appli-

place the drip tray and drip grate under the
milk frothing head.
5. Plug the power cord of the appliance into
an electrical outlet (220-240 V~, 50/60 Hz)
and switch it on with the ON/OFF switch.

ming phase.
7. Place a cup on the drip tray.
8. As soon as the A + B buttons remain illumi-
nated press the "B" button and wait for the
appliance to prepare one portion of frothed
milk, which you then discard.
9. The appliance is now ready for daily use.
2. Replace the milk in the milk tank every
hour, if possible.
