DRY CONTACTS IP68 LoRaWAN 863-870 - Guide utilisateur / User guide version V1.0.0

5.3. Example of output wiring

The Dry Contact product outputs can be configured as outputs for controlling the equipment. The outputs are open collector outputs. It is therefore
necessary to add an output relay to control equipment as the product is not able to provide a product output voltage directly.
The following example shows the wiring to be installed for controlling lighting: such as a 24V bulb
The maximum supply voltage accepted by the product is 24V
To control the outputs by a downlink frame, the product must be configured correctly and a downlink frame must be preloaded into the server
to be transferred to the product at its next wake up.
You will find a few examples of downlink frames below:

E.g.:
03 00
03 01
03 0F
Each bit of the second byte of the frame is the command of a digital output
ADVICE: to avoid any overconsumption of the product, all the I/O unused should be not wired and not grounded or the concerned registers
should be put in Output state
