DRY CONTACTS IP68 LoRaWAN 863-870 - Guide utilisateur / User guide version V1.0.0

2.4.3 Operation of the counters

The counters represent, depending on the configuration, the number of high and low, low only or high only edges.
They are coded on 2 bytes therefore limited to a value of 65,535 the user must therefore be vigilant on the periodicity of sending in order
not to exceed 65,535 events between two transmissions. The counters will remain blocked at the value 65,535 (no loopback.).
Example of values of the counters in several situations of use:
FR
TOR electrical state
Logical state
EN
TX event
CLOSE/OPEN
TX event
OPEN

TX periodic
CLOSE/OPEN
The 3 figures under the pulses are: the number of events / the previous state / the current state.
Explanation:
• The first line represents the electrical signal, as it is a Vdc pull-up resistor the state of the logical signal (logical state) on the second line is
reversed.
• The third line is a digital input set in event mode to count the high and low edges (ON/OFF).
• The fourth line is a digital input set in event mode to count the low edges (OFF) only.
• The fourth line is a digital input set in event mode to count the high edges (OFF) only.
• The sixth line is a digital input set in periodic mode to count only the high and low edges (ON/OFF).
