2 Proper use

The Prestomat ® compact is an electrically driven vacuum pressure casting unit for melting and casting of
dental alloys. A newly developed ceramic thermocouple allows a max. heating temperature of 1500 °C.
The motor-driven, automatic turning mechanism of the casting chamber contributes to achieve repro-
duceable casting results at any time. Numerous functions that can be easily controlled ensure operational
convenience. Safe operating is achieved through a control which excludes malfunctions. By connecting
the Prestomat Printer, casting processes can be logged.
Carefully read these instructions for use prior to the installation and initial operation. The informa-
tion in these instructions for use must be observed since operation that is not in compliance with
these instructions may include hazards for the operator.
