heard. If the casting chamber is closed, it will start to turn into the casting position after an evacuation
time of approx. 20 seconds.
If a time of further heating of 15 min is exceeded, "FAIL" is shown in the display. The current
supply to the thermocouple is automatically disconnected. In order to reactivate the current
supply, press any key on the operation panel. Then the temperature will level out at the starting
temperature that has been programmed.
4.3.4 Pressure delay time (Pressure delay sec.)
Depending on the type and the quantity of alloy a pressure delay time between 0.0 and 0.3 seconds can
be preselected. In case of a higher viscosity of the melted alloy an extended pressure delay time is
required. If a large alloy quantity is melted, it is recommended to select an extended pressure delay.
During the casting process, i.e. if the casting chamber is turned downward by 180° and the vacuum
pump is working, the control lamp is lit. It is lit when the casting process is completed and during pro-
gramming and confirming of the casting time. If the casting process is completed and the casting cham-
ber is opened, it goes out. Enter the required time until the alloy soldifies.

4.3.5 Cooling time

After the casting process is finished the control lamp is flashing. It lit's continuously while the casting
chamber moves back to the starting position and during programming and confirming the cooling time.
After the casting process is finished and the lid of the casting chamber is open it goes out.

4.4 Control keys

Press this key in order to enter into the program mode. By pressing this key again you will
leave this mode. Programming is only possible during stand-by operation and during the
melting process. During the casting process only the confirmation is possible.
Press this key to change to a new program. If it is pressed once, you will move up ( ) or
down ( ) one program. Press this key in the programming mode to change the values in the
individual programs.
Press this key to store the values that have been entered and to move to the next program.
The programmed data are confirmed with this key. It only works in the programming mode.
No values will be changed if this key is pressed.
Press this key to start the melting process. The temperature will rise to the melting tempera-
ture. While the program is running, the diode of the melting temperature is on. If this key is
pressed again, the melting process is aborted. If a melting temperature of 0 °C has been
programmed, the unit is unable to handle the program; program course and the key will not
work.
