3.8 TRIMMING THE CABLE HOUSING
1. Hold the cable housing on the remote lever and turn the handlebars in both
directions. The cable housing must not interfere with the function of other
controls and vice versa.
2. Shorten the cable housing.
3. Hold the seat post above
the seat tube so that the
quickconnector is approx. 1 cm
below the top edge of the seat
tube.
4. Pull the cable housing out of the
seat tube by the value you noted on
the scale when adjusting the seat
height.
→ Make sure that you do not pull the
cable housing into the bike frame.
5. Now shorten the cable housing so that it
is approximately flush with the seat tube.
