Pans
Your induction cooking appliance is able to rec-
ognize most containers.
Container test :
Place your container on the cooking hob
with the power level set
If the indicator remains fixed, your container is
compatible, if it flashes, your container is not rec-
ognized and cannot be used.
You can also use a magnet: if it sticks to the bot-tom
of the container, it is compatible with induction
technology. (Caution, there may be exceptions).
The induction-compatible containers are:
Containers in enameled steel with or without
non-stick coating.
• Containers in cast iron with or without enam-
eled bottom. An enameled bottom prevents the
glass top of your appliance from being scratched.
How to preserve and maintain your appliance
Avoid rubbing containers on the top of the ap-
pliance.
Do not leave an empty container on the cook-
ing hob.
Do not heat a closed tin can. It may explode.
Do not preheat food on the maximum set
power level when you use a container with a non-
stick inside coating (Teflon) without liquid or with
very little fat.
• Stainless steel containers suitable for induction.
Most stainless steel containers are suitable if they
meet the container test.
• Aluminum containers with special bottom.
• NOTE
Glass, ceramic or clay, aluminum (without special
bottom), copper and some non-magnetic stainless
steel containers are incompatible with induction
cooking.
The level indicator of the selected power will flash
to inform you.
Plastic containers should not be
places on hot surfaces.
All these faults which do not lead to non-
functioning or inability to be used, do not fall
within the framework of the warranty.

utensils, etc. on the cooking hob because
